do many different things, such as Camping, Hiking, Water activities, Summer Camps, and more. Troop 160 has an annual trip to Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum that we love to take our new scouts to. This is an incredible educational trip. We get insights into World War II and the Vietnam War. Sometimes we even travel out to Fort Sumpter and learn some things there too. As we are at Patriots Point we get the opportunity to spend 2 nights, 3 days onboard the USS Yorktown, and by doing so we get to choose some cool activities to do. When we went in April of 2018 we were able to take advantage of a new event they give to overnight campers. We went on the "Shadows of the Ship Tour" and through that, we were able to go into the different levels of the ship that people haven't been in since it was decommissioned. In case you can't tell by now we really enjoy this place and recommend it to anyone traveling to Charleston, SC. For any questions, you may have about scouting or Troop 160 please email or call
